Do Our Hard Fought $$ Go To Game Dev?

Anyway, I was contemplating asking for a refund on my Marauder pack, to fund my 'Rebel Galaxy' purchase. What my friends are reviewing as an excellent spacer sim. I guess it just amazes me that I can purchase a fully developed title (with very positive reviews) for $20 when I've invested loads more into this title, and three years later we're still in open beta mode. Ready to start yet again from scratch, ditching quirks for infotech. I guess I can't help but wonder what portion of my funds go to actual development vs supporting others who ride the F2P train?
I'm not regretting my investment, per-se. Caveat Emptor, for sure. I'm just curious what you guys think?

If you mean how much cash to they have above operating expenses I think the results speak for themselves. They are doing pretty well but OPEX is a big demand on income. Need more paying players to give them more overhead to build. Steam release may just do that. They have built slowly but with gaining momentum but have not hit the hockey stick moment.

While I agree development feels a little mired right now bare in to consideration PGI is obviously not known for rapid production but also realize there is plenty of development happening at bench level that not publicly discussed as well as a number of re-balance / re-design initiatives taking place all at the same time.
Point is, there will always be peaks and vallies in production cycles.

Yes. Even when we goof off and talk about hypothetical superpowers.

Will he? A metacritic user score over 8 seems pretty decent. Here is MWOs metacritic for reference - http://www.metacriti...hwarrior-online
