19:10 GMT yesterday, supposed prime time EU. Grabbing a mech that is lowest in the queue, having two servers selected, all modes selected - wait time over four minutes.

When the search time is almost the same amount as a match I don't think it is anywhere acceptable levels. I'm here to play, not stare at the search wheel.

I think Russ said average is around 3 minutes. 4 isn't that bad. Over all this should speed up next week with the voting map systems.

Just don't complain when you play the same mode and map over and over.

Anything over 2 minutes I consider a long wait, but these 4-7 minute wait times I've been getting lately.. Come on..

I think the game gives you 4 options to choose from determined by the server (likely randomly selected).

So basically you can only vote on what is presented to you. That would make it pretty unlikely you could play the same map and mode over and over again.

As said in a other place.
The MM has to "reduce" its bonds when there are not enough players available - right from the start

instead of waiting for 23 other T1 players the MM should have the data how many T1 players are online - based on "experience" the server should recognize that there are not enough players in pool and increase the parameter towards T2 - right from the start not after 90sec waiting.

And even if T1 and T2 are not enough it should include T3 - and so on (even including T5 when necessary)

You are right its unacceptable to loose the bonds while players are waiting

- same for the Groups Queue

MM - should prefer to match 2x6;7+5;8+4;9+3 teams - the data how many guys are in a group should be available too- it could last some seconds until the hit launch but as soon as a group is created the server should know about and add a flag (these flags could be made visible - relative because numbers are a secret)

You jest.

They are just going to give us what we ask for so we can complain about it later. Been going on for years and not going to stop now....

A four-minute wait for solo queue is TERRIBLE. I don't know how you could possibly think it's not that bad. It means that over 50% of your time playing MWO is actually waiting in queue, waiting for the map to load, waiting for everybody else's map to load... it's truly terrible. Group queue is quite literally ten-times worse. 40-minute matchmaking times are not unheard off (I've been in more than one), especially during the APAC TZ. It didn't used to be like this - only since PSR was introduced.

Any wait longer than a minute is too much for me, there's only so many pee breaks, drink breaks, beer breaks, etc that you can get in a single gaming session.

My situation:
- 99% solo queue
- Usually GMT evenings and weekends
- all game modes
- US and EU servers selected
- mostly assault or medium

My wait times: 10 seconds to ~2 minutes.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong or different, but wait times are completely acceptable for me...

Has to be a Tier 1 issue, in Tier 3 and Tier 4 solo queue I never waited more than 3 minutes in the last 100 matches. Most games start in less than one minute.

I see you guy's complaining about queue times, and I can't help but laugh.

Here I am, Arizona Time, playing at 2-6am, on WEEKDAYS, and I'm not seeing queue times even close to this "4+" minutes you all claim.

Hell the only time I end up with bad queue times is when I try to group up.

Lol same people crying about waiting 4 minutes are the same crying about balance. So you have to wait a extra few minutes for a more balanced game who cares.

I'm glad you're having matches.

I know you people think we "claim" to be having those poor search times. That's why I posted the video because it is no longer a claim, it's a FACT.

Maybe next time, when you make yet another ******** post, try to bring some ideas to fix this ,not just post the obvious.Did you consider the low population maybe a huge factor.

of course it is - PGI had choosen the PSR values that the logged games since january 2015 create a nice Gaussian Curve.
And this means there are not enough T1 players

That means those T1 have to wait automatically time x - simple because the MM need this time to remove the barriers - and in the end those T1 are still dropping vs T3 - so simple question why not simple remove the barrier before the player hit launch?

They always did something about it cant you wait 1 week?

How many people do you think plays this game anyway. Even in peak times I see the same people over and over. The population isn't here to make your 5 second match making times.
