I am about 1000 games in (since tiers) and the bar has not moved much. So if that is true I am ok with it, I have been playing some great games and great teams, I guess this is as good as I will ever be, no need to tier up. No need to try harder, its just to much of a jump to try. Leveling a mech brings your tier down. GO T5!

If you actually have 1000 games played since tiers were introduced and the bar has stood relatively still, that would suggest that you are where you are supposed to be without changes to play style and/or mech choice.

Played a few hundred - moved from mid Tier 5 to about 3/4 of Tier 5

2500 numbers came from Paul. My tier has moved up about 20%. At this rate it will be another year. I am happy with this. I don't want to be higher lol.

My bar went from 1/3 to nearly filled since public display started, so they can move.

Not sure. I had over 5,000 matches and that put me into Tier 3 - about 85% to the way to Tier 2.

I've been capped out on Tier-1 since day 1 of PSR, I think I'm stuck

Would probably take 3000 losses in a row to drop down at all heh.

~700 Matches to grab ~50% of Tier 3...the more damage you can do the easier it becomes...add assists, savior kills etc. to that...

My bar has grown I would say 1/5th from when I started to see this new bar. So to say it takes 2500 games I disagree I think it comes down to how well you play and consistently. So I have been playing consistently well since this has been placed and as I can see it has moved and moved drastically even though I do not play as much as once did back in beta.

PSR was set by matches played back to Januar 2015 - any match b4 that...pooofff...void (In my case ~14000 statistically recorded matches went void).

I'm at about 950 games for the year and almost t1 now. So no, it is not 2.5k games. Just play smart.

My understanding of Paul's comment when I read it was that if a new player had really good matches it would take about 2500 to get from tier 4 to tier 1 but I could be wrong (wouldn't be the first time). My bar has gone from completely full in tier 5 when it was made public to about 1/6 of the way through tier 4 in a relatively small number of games (I am lucky to get 10-15 games a week). So I can't imagine it taking 2500 games to get through tier 4.
