Ok, maybe not no one, but i guarantee that at least 90% of us have never bought a standard mech variant with MC. Why is it that mechs are only on sale for MC?

The Halloween sale sucks.

The only good thing to come from this sale is the Phranken one-shot for 62 MC.

Hey look it's my 1,000th post!!!

Sales are probably very very very low indeed.
To me this just feels like a catch for new players.

People complain about not having stuff to spend MC on all the time. They just had the "killer deals" event to sell lots of MC. Now they are having a sale which halves MC prices on certain items.

Sell consumers large sums of money at no cost to self, proceed to take back that money in deals by halving prices on items that also cost nothing to sell.

Seems like a good business decision on my end.

(Also who wouldn't want to purchase a load of Adders anyway?)

EDIT: also with the current Timber Wolf they are giving away they slapped sale prices on 2 other variants (and the variant itself) so that anyone low on Cbills but high on disposable income could get their 3 variants to elite so that they can drive around the hailed Timber Wolf.

A Badder? It might have a new lease on life because of it being freed of the "CT Flamer". Still, it's a Badder.

It makes no sense to NOT sell the TBR-D, which isn't actually on the list (it's curious honestly).

I have loads of MC. I reserve cbills for upgrades and modules (because that's the only way to afford them). Buying mechs with MC lets me upgrade sooner. But that's just me.

Shoot me I'm a whale. (Though have stopped spending after Resistance 1. Too many mechs, not enough time to play them all.)

I don't feel different about people who spend MC on standard variants. You probably have more money to spend than me or have different priorities is all. Plus it seems like you don't play as often as most which makes spending MC like that make more sense vs. us c-bill grinders.

I don't know why they bother. I spent my Founder's MC in 3 ways, 1. GXP conversion during double conversion 2. Hero mechs. 3. Mechbays

I bought no patterns because they only unlock for the chassis and I got my colors from packs.

These kind of sales do suck.

They have a zombie mech sale but forgot to include the Grasshopper? Inconceivable!

Not only the Grasshopper is a widely acknowledged zombie mech (even on Sarna), it is the perfect Slenderman mech for Halloween.

If we can get regular mechs for MC, really the question is why can't we purchase modules for MC when there is an MC consumable in the game already?

All I see here is a few average match scores that are only pretty good. See my signature for forum-brag-worthy match score postings.

brought this up before. Nobody would honestly pay equal MC for, say, a YLW and a CN9-AH.

Main point was that "If the MC deals are better than the Preorder deals, there's no point" , or "The mastery pack already exists and has better value".
I'm all for a Lights 500MC/ Mediums 1K/ Heavies 1.5K / Assaults 2K for standard variants.

15$ = 3000MC Is roughly equivalent to a High Grade Gundam Kit of low complexity/size, so that actually translates pretty well.

I get to either build myself an Exia, or build and play with a Dire Whale.

Still, if we're arguing the effectiveness of badders now, it's almost guaranteed that you'd do more with a FS-9 or ACH.

None of those scores are that good (i mean 6 kills is always cool but you didnt get those by yourself with only 600 dmg)....no offense. But the Adder always did OK dmg, now it can just do even better dmg but its still kinda fragile and still the badder.

I have game with similar score from Urban mechs and they have less payload then the adder even with the flamer. Anecdotal evidence is just that and cherry picked screen shots prove very little.

Adders are cool but they aren't worth MC, not IMO at least. Only thing i spend MC on are colors, camos and mechbays.

Well that's probably why they're on sale. Makes sense to put something that doesn't sell well on sale.

lol the hbk4g is on sale. I bought one yesterday and started grinding it... for cbills because duh.

But when they released a mech for mc only with a hero for a week till others could buy with cbills i paid mc's for those mech because i wanted them now. Thanks to the ridiculously long preorder time we have now, i dont feel that urge to spend cash anymore.

Well some newbie might buy it. Although they're pretty cheap C-bill wise as it is.

I bought a few standard variants with MC myself. I barely play. Sometimes my c-bills are better spent on upgrades instead of mechs.
