Plus: aiming in a shooter...nah, we can't have that (hitscan, lrms, ssrms etc)
Keep in mind even the aiming in this game is screwed up thanks to the pinpoint damage and the resulting meta it creates. Ironically, Streaks - for all their problems - are the only non-pinpoint weapon that ever sees real play.
As for the rest of the Roadmap, I'm just baffled. The penalty for disconnects is just mind-bogglingly stupid given the laughable lack of stability of this game. Map voting is tolerable, though obviously some maps will never be seen again, but voting for game mode is just idiotic. It will basically wipe Conquest out completely, and probably Assault as well, leaving Skirmish and "bigger mech is always better!" as the only surviving game mode.
In short, Lights are already played infrequently, so naturally voting for game modes will go against them and favor Skirmish... which will result in fewer people playing lights, and the cycle continues. Remember when you could just play Conquest to level up a Light mech? Yeah, won't be able to do that anymore.
