I agree as i always have with the one speaker, LRM's can perform...but they NEVER beat meta, the end, period, end of statement, end of line.

Indeed. Its quite unfortunate but they are not an optimal weapon. I hope in the future that the weapon system can be addressed so that it can be taken to comp drops as a support role based weapon.

Today is going to be an interesting day to be sure.

LRMs: powered by comp player tears. Optimized mech does not necessarily mean optimized pilots. this is the same douchebagry that haunt's EVE and other games that honest, the Mechwarrior franchise does not need. but instead of trying to keep these folks out, PGI is doing the smart thing by doing tourneys. but this interview is exactly why most players aren't interested in high comp play. Solaris can't get here soon enough...
