When I reached the movement part of the new tutorial my Mech immediately began randomly turning in circles and accelerating. When I tried to slow it down it started going in reverse while still spinning. I have no idea what happened and can anyone tell me what to do? Everything else works just fine, but I just can't go anywhere. It also instantly stops whenever I go into chat.

Do you have a joystick or similar connected?
Try removing it, if you are using mouse and keyboard.

There's also the case that sometimes games miss you letting go of a key for various reasons. If you keep turning left, pressing and letting go of A might sometimes already be enough to reslove your issue. Otherwise, see if Yozaa's advice is of any help.
