I was recently reported for my old name too, the thing I find sad is how petty people can be over this sort of thing.

I know this guy and I want to throw in my two cents here.


1. Premise: He is not proficient with English.
You know this game aren't just played by Americans and Europeans? There are entire Chinese MWO forums buried somewhere in the internet, a large part of which seems to be Chinese asking for clarifications from people who knows both languages. I somewhat doubt the availability of translations judging from that.

2. "Code of Conduct... Code of Conduct..."
Tell me, where is the CoC posted in a obvious position? Even I didn't know it existed until someone triggered it and mentioned it. Though I was as inexperienced about details of a multiplayer while making my account and name 22 months ago as he was recently.
So I am not sure how much more you should expect from someone who has even less skills with English than I have.

3. He just wanted to keep an old account name from an older game that went down which he had fond memories of. Not to mention he had and still has a play style based on extreme speed, which I think was the intended connotation.

4. Seriously, who the hell cares about such a borderline profanity. I mean, most English speakers speak a lot cleaner language in their daily lives, right? (- _ -)

5. Biased views and assumptions, anyone?

Perhaps renaming yourself to "I will set Uranis on Fire" may get PGI to look the other way?
