"Hi Mechwarriors, we know that the recent outage cut into the event and sale, and also that the game had stability problems up before today's patch.
We've decided to extend the trick or treat 2 event and haloween sale by 24 hours, after today's patch is completed. We're also going to give everyone 24 hours of free premium time as a way to say thanks for your patience with this situation."
Fail Customers 101
-Give no ETA or Info about event extension until North American customers are sleeping and/or at work.
-Give no Haloween Sale extesion, even though the outage cut into the end of the sale by 1 hour.
-Allow the event to continue when the servers are completely unreliable or offline.
-Give a select few 24 hours of premium time, even if their premium time ended 1 minute after the oputage occured.
This kind of crap is why you will never be able to create a new game. Your customers hate you.
They hate that you have the MWO IP. They will spread the hate across the Steam Release by pointing out the truth, and those players will have a skewed viewpoint before they even see what a terrible company you are.
Wake up.
