I'm not interested in playing skirmish. Ever. The old system allowed for that. I was content with longer matchmaking times.

The voting system forces people to play modes they do not want to, and people refuse to play when they don't get the mode or map they wanted. To make things even worse, you punish people for quitting if they are pushed into modes they have no interest in.

I honestly can't imagine a dumber change to matchmaking. This was not something that needed to be fixed. This completely drives me away from the game.

Rather than let you vote to pick a map or game type, you should have 15 seconds to pick the mech you want to drop with. Thus you could pick something appropriate to the map.

Well I don't want to play Conquest when everyone just deathballs into a skirmish match anyhow.

Nor do I want to play assault when everyone just deathballs and nascars into a skirmish or baserush.

But I try my best (and sometime fail) to accept the fact that all the game modes are actually skirmish anyhow unless I play in group queue or CW because solo pugs can't comprehend anything more difficult than TDM.

Oh god no, try it a few times and don't get your way then create a new rage thread as well as copy/paste your rage in every single thread that might possibly be about a similar topic.

Everyone has their preferences. Fact of the matter is you can't please everyone.
If that is all it takes to drive you away from the game, then so be it. Leave. Starting a pity party on the forums won't change anything

PS: Every game mode is Skirmish in disguise.
