So with the hot fix in just now I think I can safely say that it was the scrambled lances causes all the mess. Glad they fixed it sooner rather than later

I half agree, at least all lances being mixed made for some random game play. Anything that takes the staleness out of the game is nice.

The maps need a few more dynamic things. Maybe spawn points or cap locations, base caps, anything. Make something random.

I was enjoying the randomness before the hotfix. ^_^

Nope it's the same crowd, I just prefer to win as much as possible.
So I'll click company command and try to lead.
Give people a course of action and most will follow.
Sadly it rarely happens here.
To many antisocial gits I guess.
But I do get a thrill from commanding a successful drop

You are very different then most of the underhive.

You are willing to lead, take command. Win or loose, you are able to take that step, that leap of faith and TRY. Win or loose, I bet you walk away from the drop you command with some sense of accomplishment.

And it gets even better when everyone falls into place and the drop goes well and is commanded well. At the end of the match, no matter if it says WIN/LOST, bet you feel like you "won" somewhat.

You may loose, but your willing to take that chance. Most will not take that chance because there is a chance to loose.

Keep up the good work and do not stop!

I heard one idiot over VOIP tell people to stay with their lances? WTF do lances have to do with anything? 4 mechs walking into a 12 man death ball die almost as fast as 1.....

Better to stay with your Lance of 4 vs walking off by yourself.

Sticking with your Lance grants XP/Cbills.

Sticking with your Lance is good way to learn teamwork.

Sticking with your Lance is a stepping stone to sticking with the whole Company.

Cannot believe you need to be told that, but such is the underhive.

Now, go back to running away from combat, retreating in reverse in a straight line while under fire, and keep running away from the enemy until your at map edge as always.

I don't know whether it's the new MM, map voting, moving from tier 2 to 3, offpeak times or the fact the lance spawning is completely screwed up right now, but the last four games of MWO I played were the worse I've played in nearly a year.

The teams split up, refused to regroup, ignored all attempts of team work over VOIP and died alone in a ditch without telling anyone where or how they died. In each game I called targets, warned of flanks, and did respectable damage against the enemy while my entire team seemed completely oblivious and ran around like headless chickens.

I really hope it's bad luck, because I can't keep playing if this keeps happening.

I don't think it's a tier 3 thing as it's also pretty hit or miss in tier 2. I had a string of bad games yesterday where I was doing alright but team was doing nothing, but I also had some pretty good ones like this:

Keep your chin up buddy! If I see you in game I will definitely pay attention to comms. :)

I would love for some variations on spawn and capture points for each map/mode. Would certainly help to keep things fresh. I remember playing some maps after new spawns were introduced and it was almost like playing new maps
