Either way this game is far more enjoyable when not taken super serious.

I have just deleted a whole rant at folks who use the internet as their own personal stress relieving tool . . . because I just realized I do it too ....

And of course, everyone has an opinion on the internet and feels the need to share it in game chat. Especially if they are already dead.

I agree.
PAPOS, you are good enough. Seen you play. Leave it.
I b*tch from time to time as well. But mostly about laser vomit.
But overall more of a gentleman!

He is piloting the war machine to an intercept location, and one super soldier tells him to go to a specific location as he is off route, and the Soldier just responds with, "Affirmative," but keeps doing his own thing...
Really gets them riled up.

Its true that some1 said "he is too scared to die" or something like that and he might have refrain from doing so, but thats all, there was no more blaming nor joking, and then after killing the KC you (IMHO) overreacted.
I can agree with you that blaming other pilots is pointless and disrespectful, but also ignoring (and reporting if you feel is needed) is wiser than raging

If I may make one observation though ... you did tend to hang back and not fight with the team. While I will defend your right to take time to use a Light Mech to reposition, I generally prefer my team mates to be fighting as part of the team. Sometimes it would be better for the rest of us if you were more actively engaged in the fight (eg, distracting from the rear, or running amok through the enemies) instead of camped on a far-off hill plinking away at maximum range.
In any case, if the last guy on our team needs a couple of minutes to get in position to try to kill another enemy, that's fine by me. It's the ones who shut down and hide, or run out of bounds to protect their illusory k/d stat, that annoy the crap out of me.

Case in point, this was a 1v4 match in favor of Red Team that we won because the pilot didn't quit. He also didn't let the chat masters put him off his game:
Edit: The 1v4 starts at 6:40:

Settings > Disable Chat and VOIP
Pleasant, noise free gaming.
Just make sure to try and follow any coordinated movements, keeps things somewhat team-oriented.

Tell ya what, both times were the most enjoyable experiences I have had in a long while.
