Anyone know what TIME on August 7th? Like... midnight PST.... midnight MST... midnight EST... curious so I can be ready to click "download" as fast as possible

got a better idea, on the eve of august 6th go get super drunk, then whenever you recover from your hangover it might be ready

Yep...but if they do it at the same time as the founders went out it will be 02:30 hrs here.

Edit: That would be 03:00 hrs Sydney time if you are not on daylight saving time.

May end up doing that anyway... have a few friends coming over for a game night so I was planning on drinking with them and hopefully starting the download while we play other games to tide us over

I might wait untill the 8th or 9th the DL the game. Why you ask? well if any of you remember day one of the founders package the entire site was slamed with people trying to pay for there founders pack in fact i think the web page was super laggy. I would think the portal to DL the game would suffer from the same effects as the web page did.

Wouldn't surprise me. That, or the download will be fairly slow. But if I can get it started I'll just let it download until it's done. I'm sure they will do the best they can to avoid this... but new release games that are popular online always seem to struggle on release day. (Battlefield of any kind on any platform seemed to fail on first day every single time)

Well you can take the 7th as teh actual start, then u can count on a server overload putting some in a queue, not to mention the 2 day patch following to fix issues. And yes I'm being the a devil's advocate atm...... rofl

Hopefully they'll have both direct download and bit torrent style downloading for the release.. so the more people with the game downloading, the faster it will go.. I won't be able to seriously play the game until the 11th (Saturday) anyway.. a few hours per night is not what I call serious.

I jumped at the founders launch and got a number (as if it matters) less than 1000.....since then I've read so many inane posts I'm thinking I should have walked away after MW4 with at least some fond memories.

What would be even better... is that they let people download the client 24-48 hours before launch. Since it's a MMO, accounts need to be activated to play anyway. It's not like I can go and get the beta client right now from someone and login.

Then, at least, I won't have to spend hours on pre-launch day downloading the client.

I'm guessing it'll start around 10:00 Pacific time, that seems to be the popular starting time for things over at PGI. I'm also willing to bet, that they'll do it just like any other beta invite, and send them out in waves over the day, to avoid the servers melting under the load.

Most likely will be 8th of August in here Finland when Founders Program go online. I just hope that there is players to play with in Europa's prime time. Also why I have to work and not to be on summer vacation :<

The best idea, as always, is to let people download the client 3-4 days in advance. This way, there is no launch-day fuckup (or, at least, a much smaller one).

I hope they will give access to the software earlier. So they will not blow up there setup by thousands of simultaneous downloads. If they open the games servers on th Aug it will be less complicated to start playing.
