Another tough day at work. Decided to not call in sick even though I have some stomach bug. Throwing up every other hour in the employee bathroom. Body aches all that stuff. So I finished my shift. Headed home to hop in a mech. On the way home some jerk pulls out beside me and almost hits my car. I swerve off to the side and he flicks me off and speeds away. I start to see red. Steam is literally spewing from my ears (could be this damn bug).
I get home and turn on MWO. I'm pretty pissed.
Map: frozen city night
I'm in my Gridiron. Which has a max XL engine and an Lb 10 x AC, er large laser and large laser. A build I was messing around with. Team is starting to engage enemy. So I decide to sneak around and go cap the base. I signalled a light to follow me.
I first run into a King Crab. There is a small building between us. I start taking my anger out on the Crab. Toying with him. Slamming him in the back with my AC and lasers. He turns around and almost destorys my torso. I fall back and flank him again. This time I'm set on killing anyone in my path. I circle the Crab and take it down. I make it to the base and start capping. I have a raven beside me helping.
Then here comes the enemy. First is another Hbk. I have some decent cover behind some metal object. We exchange fire for a minute until I completely destroy him. I'm starting to get excited. But still pissed. Here comes some commando and it starts running around me. My warning lights are blinking and it seems like the end. Until I get a good pace with him and blow his legs off. Then two more hits and he explodes. I'm barely alive. A thunderbolt starts coming my way. I take a hit and lose one of my arms. It's OK though. Don't need em. I exchange fire and just graze his outershell. Someone hit him so hard after that and his center turned red. I quickly noticed this and screamed as loud as I could into the Comms. Death cry or something. One AC shot with two large lasers brings em down. We're almost done capping when I see a timber wolf come around the corner. I accept this and just open fire. He hits me once and I explode into metal scraps. We didn't win the match. But I really felt the intense experience with that. Good stuff.

Well, it is kind of interesting how most humans basically have interactive fantasies (i.e. immersive computer games) that revolve around killing people. Everyone hates war, but we sure like to play pretend. And it doesn't really feel as good to kill bots as it does to kill humans.
I know this is "2 edgy 4 me" and the kind of philosophical musings you'd expect from a 14-year-old, but it doesn't stop to fascinate me.

I'll make them take their anger out on me. How? By presenting an 2 even crazier builds of course.
KFX: 4xMG's, 1 cERSL, 1 cERML, 1 ER PPC, 6JJ, ECM.
FS 9S: 2x ML, 3x SL, 1 ERLL, Max JJ, 280XL. Not a single MPL in it despite the quirks saying that's the weapon i should be packing.

Loved the story.
Did i wonder about the weapon load? Yes but more about how to make the most out of it rather than saying run it this way.
Was the last guy left in my HBK-4j once had to kill a pretty fresh enforcer to win, i killed him eventually only had my head laser left. All i got for my effort was learn to shoot, took you long enough, why didnt you do this.

I think it has more to do with the competition aspect than killing / War
