Given that even with a max engine, the urbanmech goes slower than every other light, it needs significant structure/armor quirks.

It also has nothing but high mounted weapons, the smallest profile of any other mech, and a 360 rotation.

I feel it needs them too, but while its no Arctic Cheetah, its easily the best IS 30 tonner even without the armor quirks.

360 rotation is only a perk if doing a flyby or surrounded, and with map geometry not being flat and without obstructions, this means you will be close, and will need that armor.

If you want more armor, i suggest you should look beyond the 30 ton range.

Urbies perform already way better then they ever supposed to do.
Structure buffs and weapon quirks are more then enough for now, yet alone a maximum speed over 100 kph.

I just came back to MWO and got Urban mechs. As a support mech it's not bad. ECM might help. I've dropped to an AC 2 and added two med lasers and AMS. I've also dropped the jump jets and gon to a bigger engine. I can now stay with the assaults.
