That's why to support PGI and MWO and have a choice to play all the Classic mechs I chose to be a Legendary Founder.

I don't like/have any interest in the Jenner.
I like and use the Catapult but that's only when I am feeling lazy or filling in for fire support either indirect or direct.
I don't mind piloting an Atlas but I prefer a Stalker or Awesome for the assault chassis.
And as I am primarily a front assault group support medium mech that leaves me the Hunchback.
Exactly. I couldn't have given better reason for my Hunchback choice. Glad to know I am not the only one that likes the nasty mediums with BFGs

I agree wholeheartedly! It comes down to the role you like to play - your playstyle as it were. Some like the speed and danger rush of recon, others the pounding action of frontline work while still others the satisfaction of raining missile fire or Dakka-Dakka in support of their lance mates. Why buy something you cannot appreciate? As far as I know, you cannot sell a Founders Mech so the cost should not matter.

As stated in other threads my first choice among current lights is the Commando, and the Raven is also another I've always liked. With the Jenner, it's likely to be a 'dust collector' to quote Sean von Steinike.
Others love the Catapult, and it is a nice Mech, but I've always felt it needed arms (which pretty much is what they did years later, becoming a Mad Cat). So while I'm sure I'd pilot one if I had it in my stable, it wouldn't be my first choice as a Heavy either.
And that is my Crux, get the Legendary for the two Mechs I really like, and one I'm okay with or Stick with Elite and get a Hunchback that doesn't provide a founders bonus. Decisions like this suuuuuuck.

I chose the 'no founder mech Veteran package' because I don't see myself chosing to pilot any of those Mechs. If I did own founder mechs, like any other realist I would feel compelled to use them as with their bonuses they are the 'best deal' for me to play. Therefore, the only way I'm going to be happy in my Commando, Centurion, Jagermech and Awesome etc is to not have bonus mechs I'm personally not so keen on taunting me in my garage.
I'll just have to try and make it up to Pirana by splashing out when the game is out of Beta.
