Had another Skirmish-Alpine last night, was already bored to death after Skirmish-HPG #43
But then our shot-caller had us try something new and different. And it was fun.
Do more of that please.

Well to be fair, if you got VOIP enabled and a mic, there's nothing stopping you form attempting to take DC during the game.

I done a lot of the different stuff. One issue you run into is you get 1 or 2 people almost every game not willing to work with the team. They run off and die so you're down 10-12. This isn't the worst but what happens is the other team is happy about there normal pug spot so they just camp there all game. You are then forced to attack them and you die most cases.
New stuff only works 100% of the time with 12 man team. Sad part is Russ just nerfed the hell out of 12man teams.

Yesterday I had my first drop on Terrible Therma since voting. Someone suggested we not go to the middle but form on assaults and push the north sideand people listened. We slaughtered a lance before they knew what was going on and had a great fight outside the Calder a for a change. It was the most fun I have ever had on that map.

You know, I may start doing that. I was an LAV-25 commander in the Marines, so I'm not shy and I understand maneuver warfare. But I would need to learn the maps better.
I've been reluctant because I'm usually in a scout Raven that likes to flank. Do you guys usually shot call from a heavy?

Heavy shot call works with real groups that give the shot caller feedback. With pugs a light works good because you have to find your own Intel.
Of course I would drop the Raven and buy an Arctic cheatoo for the job.
Tip with dealing with pug . At the start of the match ask if anyone wants to drop call. If no one says anything then say "OK I will do it". You will find a lot more people are willing to listen this way.

Remember you can still call shots after dying, too.

You've only done that once?
