I'm about as interested in FO4 as i am in MWO, no interest whats so ever.
Luckly though i'm having a hoot sailing my new Cleveland and hitting an endless stream of citadels/ p!ss!ing of BBs by constantly setting them alight.

There's life after MWO and its good!.

Love the concept of Fallout but I am not a fan of the gameplay. I own F3 and FNV and never played more than a few hours on each.

I don't own FO4 not my thing.

dropped last night in game for nearly a week of staying away, haven't really got any plans to play this much, until they remove the crap voting system.

And yet here you are, posting on a forum for a game you don't play or like about another game you don't want or like. Speaking for myself, I'd have to be beyond mind numbingly bored before I'd even consider doing that. So if life is so wonderful without MWO, why are you here exactly?

From what I've seen thus far (just the intro and first mission or so beyond it) the game play is VASTLY improved over previous incarnations.

Fallout is dead. It died with Fallout 3.

Yea!

Just like Grand Theft Auto! GTA died with GTA2! Screw 3D, it ruins everything!

I saw a demo... you can build a fort !
and after you build the Fort you can just keep adding to it if you want.
super open ended game.
Good game to just keep around and play when your sick or just don't want to give the 100% attention required by MWO.

Installing as I type.

Won't affect my MWO play mostly because I usually only play these days on Sunday and Wednesday nights when myself and some other TLB jump into the game for an hour or two.

My other time is occupied by some MineCraft and once installed, Fallout 4!

STEAM Christmas sales will be coming too so I usually pick up some great deals then as well. MWO is treading water in terms of interest these days.

STEAM wont give me my account back in time for xmas.... :(

Been 7 weeks of trying to get it installed on my new computer....Thanks Steam Guard. Dont enable this **** if you have not already...all it does it make it impossible to move your account to another computer.

It is not uncommon for those of us who once really liked/loved/enjoyed this game to keep our fingers on the pulse in case (as unlikely as it is) PGI can make a miracle happen and get this game where it should be. Still, finger on pulse.

That was a rhetorical question, I already know the answer, I'm just too polite to say it. B)

Big games? Dark Souls 3 doesn't come out until next spring... and Street Fighter V next winter sometime in February. Unless you're thinking Elite Dangerous: Horizons... but Elite has been out for almost a year now.

You can think what you will about Fallout, love it, hate it, or just don't care; that's your prerogative. Taste is subjective. But you cannot say that a release of a new Fallout game isn't a big thing in the world of gaming, that's just being ignorant.

Fallout 3 sold 4.7 million copies during its first week alone (which brought in roughly USD 280 million), and based on pre-ordering alone, Fallout 4 looks to beat Skyrim for sales - which sold 20 million copies in its first two months (another cool USD 1.2 billion right there).

I never said it was. Your suggesting I did is being illiterate. :P I was replying to DAYLEET who mentioned other titles are coming out this year that are a big deal. As far as I know, there's nothing much else worthwhile coming out this year that is mainstream.

Battlefront is... but that game is trash. We know this from the open beta. So what else is there?

Only a couple hours in so far. The graphics appear to offer either a relatively low res full screen or a slightly less low res windowed option(s). Given that I'm running a 21:9 34" ultrawide screen at 3440*1440, I appear to have the option of a stretched, horribly low rez game in full screen, or playing on 1/2 to 1/4 of screen real-estate in window mode in either 16:9 or 16:10 at a max of 1920*1080. Is there a setting I'm missing that will run this at 3440*1440 full screen?

Anyone else running a similar monitor (see specs in sig) that could share their settings?
