What can you guys tell me about the Minnesota tribe? I look at Saran but there wasn't a whole lot there. I did see one of wolf's dragoons was a member though.

All we know that they raided a few Kuritan worlds. Then they disappeared. Almost everything else about them is "canon rumor" - rumors and hearsays from the BattleTech universe.

The general theme is that the Minnesota Tribe were remnants of one special snowflake, flawless and innocent Clan - Clan Wolverine.

As for the Wolf's Dragoons, they had nothing to do with the Minnesota Tribe. The Minnesota Tribe was history a long time before the Wolf's Dragoons departed from the Clan Space.

I think the popular myth (not exactly known if it is true or not, but Kurita made ghost bear believe it) is that that they became Word of Blake.

Captain Danielle Rondema of the Dragoons is supposedly from the Minnesota Tribe. I was mainly curious since I'm from Minnesota. Thanks for the response.

Sorry, but being actually connected to the Minnesota Tribe would lead to instanteous Trial of Annihilation. Hell, even a mere suspicion would be more than enough.

The Minnesota Tribe was active around 2825, when they escaped the Clan space (i.e., if they were the Wolverines). The Wolf's Dragoons left the Clan space around 3000 and all their personnel was officially selected from the ranks of the Clanners.

Found it on a site where a user posted quotes from BT manuals. She wore the the tribes patch on her suit and a wolverine patch as well. It could be wrong info. That's why I asked the community here for info. Only stuff I know is from mech commander gold.

Apparently, the original source of that statement is the old Wolf's Dragoons sourcebook.

Quote

Rondema's 'Mech was painted with the silhouette of an ancient Terran state called Minnesota. She also wore a patch showing the same silhouette on her left shoulder of her duty uniform. This led to speculation that she was connected with the mysterious Minnesota tribe, a 'Mech unit that terrorized Kurita space in 2825 and disappeared. Captain Rondema took the mystery to the grave with her.

Probably nothing more than either provocation or attempt to confuse the outsiders. The Clans had very advanced medicine and science, and DNA test would have clarified all uncertainties.
