If you were starting the game FRESH, no experience, and you just bought 3000 MC because well, you had the money, but you didn't have any more for a few more days... what exactly would you buy?

Is there a Mech Loot Box that I can get to take a shot at something cool? I don't mind a good gamble here and there :P Even if the odds are stacked badly.

Give me a heads up where to put this MC please :-D

And any other TOTAL beginner advice.

They've said there are going to be new packages when the Steam release hits. I'd hold my coin until then because they may be great buys.

Buy mechbays. You will need a lot of them.
(no need to buy them now, just when you want to buy a new mech ; or when they are on sales)

Necromancy! Sorry about the Steam advice, those packages are not great deals.

Lots of mech bays.
You can grind everything else easily.
Grinding bays is possible, but far far more limited and tedious than c-bills or xp

Though at this point Im betting OP has since long spent his or her MC. Still, the point stands.

Save you MC right now...
Wait until you have done the first 25 missions, as you get cash for each of them. You can use a trail the whole time.

If you like that trail buy it at the end, as all xp you got in it will open up.

You get enough mechbays at the start, so don't worry about it until you need them.

Also you need 3 different versions of the same mech to unlock the elite skills, then just 3 different elits in that class (light, Heavy, etc) to unlock master.
