Here are what I think are the important bits:

Quote

Updated November 17th content:

New Challenges in the MechWarrior Academy: Onslaught, and The Shooting Gallery
• Updated C-Bill Rewards
Hit-box adjustments for the following ‘Mechs:
Catapult
Dragon
Commando
Hunchback
Jenner
Nova
Quickdraw
Raven
Locust
We are also introducing refinements to the Map and Game Mode voting screen.
The timer is increasing from 15s to 20s
The MWO client will flash in the taskbar when transitioning from matchmaking search to voting screen

Map and Mode voting will now be weighted.

Each time a player votes for a Map or a Mode that does not win, their vote weight for the next time goes up by one (maximum vote weight is 12).

Each time the player votes for a Map or Mode that wins, their vote weight returns to 1.
If a player does not vote for a Map or a Mode, then the weight for that category remains the same.
For groups, now only the group leader votes. For anyone that is in the group but is not the leader, the Map and Mode buttons are disabled. Also the Map and Mode selection of the leader will be seen on the other group members screens. The vote weights of the leader will also be seen on the group member's screens.

Voters are now allowed to rescind their vote by clicking again on the item (previously they could only change their vote to another selection).

Percentages are now based on the votes cast rather than the total number of possible votes (e.g. if only one person has voted, then the percentage would read 100% rather than 4%).

Map voting and hitbox adjustments are welcome indeed, but my worry is on the C-Bill reward changes. Let's hope they added stuff, instead of removing...

They are raising the reward (and hopefully the match score as well) for winning by cap in Conquest and Assault. Other than that, I have no idea what they plan to do.

I think the hitbox update is something to pay attention to as well.

I'm concerned about the HB adjustments, esp on the Catapult. Just remove those extra bulky missile attachments and I'm good!

Really happy to see the client will flash when the map screen hits and hoping the rewards are bumped, not lowered.

Most of this don't need just hit box adjustments, but whole design scaled down.

Wait... Quickdraw hitbox change? I thought Quickdraw has pretty ok hitboxes. He needs a re-scale or more correctly a re-model, because they look bloody awful, probably the worst concept-model transition. Yes. Worse than the Wolfhound (which is actually really close to atleast the orthos, if not the concept)

Though i welcome Catapult's, Dragon's and Jenner's hitbox changes. They really need it.

Hitbox Adjustements =/= Rescale? :(

Nope. Rescaling will happen after Origins IIC mechs are released.

Is anyone else having a bit of heartache with this? I know folks will be on Comms with one-another, but that's going to lead to confusion all its own that the new 20 second countdown for voting is not going to cover.

No this is great and how it should be. Large groups should not be able to dictate what the map is. This is a great decision for the group queue. I think people will get used to the UI change part though

I sent Tina a thread about new rewards, I'm relatively optimistic.

The new voting changes look good as well. The voting "weight" idea seems like a great fix.

What was wrong with Locust hitboxes? And let's hope the commando hitbox changes are a buff not a nerf :P
