Just had 6 counter attack matches out of 6 games. Everything ok with the game? Must say, the last days wasn't much different, had always more CA as other game modes.

Look up what the slots on the planets mean. If the enemy conquered most of the slots then you have none to defend, only to take back via counter attack.

Actually that is not completely true BSK.
The CW game mode selector is set up to alternately start one attack, one counter attack and then back to the beginning.
The only exception to this rule is if all sectors are blue/red (meaning only one game mode is possible) or the currently slated game mode has no sections able to start (for example: Counter attack planned, but all red sectors are already ingame). Then the game defaults to the next possible random map.
I have had an evening with 4 counterattacks in a row on the same map, same sector, just because we were running with 2 groups and our group had the bad luck of finishing the first round faster (both groups won their games, meaning we kept on defending the same sector we had just taken over and over again). In the end it was a fun evening... but only because we were on TS enjoying ourselves.... and we got loooooads of practice defending counter attacks on Sulfurous Rift
