The Dragons are dear to me, here's my feedback on the Dragon quirks.

DRG-1N - Let's start with the hot potato. Lost 15% AC5 and 5% Ballistics CD, gained general structure and +10 RA armor. This is a rather fair trade imo, it has been suggested earlier to trade DPS for RA durability. The nerf is drastic enough, question is if the RA buff is? RA structure is irrelevant in this respect since it's the durability of the guns that are important, not the arm itself. More importantly, the easiest way to disarm a DRG-1N is to blow off its RT, not the arm. Imo it probably could use a little more ST armor, but it will probably be OK at non-competitive levels.

Suggested new values: ST Armor: +10 (OR ST structure +24) (reinforce the tradeoff DPS for durability)

DRG-1C - Mainly buffed with general structure and some RA armor, otherwise only lost 5% E range and gained 5% laser duration. Based on how I use my 1C, I would have liked to have a PPC velocity buff, and I would trade duration for range on the 1C to make it viable to use the two nice E shoulder mounts also as a PPC platform as well as long range lasers.

Suggested new values: PPC velocity: 30% (help builds like AC10/PPC and Gauss/PPC)

DRG-5N - This one baffles me, it has gotten the wrong quirks from day 1, and stays unchanged. The unique thing with the DRG-5N is that it can mount 3x AC2, no other DRG can. If it is to use an UAC5 that it can only mount one of, like PGI implies, then it needs to combine it with 2x AC2. It fits, but this pass gears the 5N further towards UAC away from generic CD quirks. The two energy quirks are mostly wasted on this variant though they can stay for variety of course.

Suggested new values: Ballistics cooldown: 20%, UAC cooldown: 10%, Ballistics heat gen: 10% (help the 3x AC2 as well as the 2x AC2/1x UAC5 builds)

DRG-Flame - Lost range, gained velocity. Probably a small downgrade. Imo the Flame needs a bit more ballistics cooldown to make it interesting, that should mounted B hardpoint is it's only strength, it can use it for both AC20 and Gauss.

Suggested new values: Ballistics cooldown: 20% (help any build)

DRG-Fang - Basically unchanged, except a bit further pigeonholed to use AC/10. Not bad for pugging, but not very useful otherwise. Could use something to make it more interesting.

Suggested new values: Energy range: 20% (will help the AC10/LPL build)

Agree and disagree concerning the 1N.
the dragon is a beast which should deal a lot of damage but also is easy to disarm. I suggest to keep the quirks as they are now pre changes. Dragons aren't used much anymore. With less damage output, armor buffs on other mechs, it will become totally obsolete. it is the only remaining competition to the clan tech.
