Wish there was a bit of a counterweight behind the elbows to balance the look of the arms.

Oh, wait, I'm saying that wrong. Um, it needs ... elbow extensions so it can twist and block laser fire from hitting its ... tail.

It looks more compact than I was expecting from the initial concept. I do hope it doesn't animate stiffly.

DUAL AC-20..

I'm going to enjoy kicking people's asses in my shiny new Warhammer.

I do wish it had better shield arms, torso's are going to be a magnet, just like the Orion.

Arm cannons and searchlight are too small. The barrels look like they are scaled to Adder-size for some reason. Otherwise there can't be too many reasons to criticize it for trying to establish its own identity instead of only attempting to copy the original Tomahawk as much as possible.

I don't know whether it'd be better if the bulging, portruding CT is ALL center torso or partially side torsos. Gonna have the Cicada problem with the former, gonna make XL engines totally unusable with the latter.

Torso mounts look decently high, even excepting the missiles. The arms aren't super low, but they're definitely at the hip rather than the waist. The STs protect the CT from the sides, and from the front all three look similarly broad, meaning it should spread damage nicely, though the arms are a bit thin and unlikely to do much shield work for the torsos.

Wow that Tomahawk has such a tiny stem of an arm to hold that massive cannon. even smaller then i remember.
Honestly im glad the missile pod and searchlight are scaled down though. and it's "hunchback".

So what im gonna do with one of my WHM-6R's is to downgrade the PPC's to medium lasers, and replace the machine guns with two UAC/5's. of course with needed weight saving measures like Endo-Steel and an XL engine if necessary.

Please Please Please have the arms angle out, so straight against the body looks so utterly wrong with those shoulders.

Looking at the front view, it looks like it's got the exact same energy hardpoint placement as the Black Knight.
DOA.
Being able to mount a ballistic in either side torso is interesting, but the Jagermech can do the same, and in high-mounted arms. The ballistic hardpoint seems to be similar in placement to the Cataphract.
DOA.
It has the same missile hardpoint in the shoulder that the Hellbringer does. While the HBR isn't DOA, nobody ever uses that missile hardpoint unless it's a trial build or they're experimenting with an LRM loadout (and learning better).
DOA.

Still dropped $55 on it because Warhammer.

DOA because its not QQ P2W GG EZMODE, cant PPFLD enough damage, cant poptart; SRMS are useless.

Have I used enough l33t speak?

This has no bearing on how DOA or not the mch is but for some reason I would have liked to see the arms stand at an angle like on the Hunchback or Hellbringer. It would have made it look less ... stiff, I don't know.

Doesn't look terrible. Definitely doesn't look XL friendly since the arms don't shield quite as much of the torso as I though from the angled pic, but I still think these builds will be pretty common:

WHM-6R
-Double UAC5, 4-6 MLs, Std280 (or XL325)
-AC20, 4-6 MLs, Std300
-Gauss. 4-6 MLs. Std300
-Gauss, 2 PPC, Std280
-AC10, 2 PPC, Std300 (or XL325)
-Gauss, 3 LLs (or ERLLs), Std280 (or XL325) *Likely meta build*

WHM-6D (the go-to meta variant)
-3 LPL, 3-6 MLs, XL330 *Likely meta build*
-9 MPLs, Std315
-3 LLs (or ERLLs), 3-6 MLs, XL330 *Likely meta build*

WHM-7S
-6 MPLs, 3 SRM6s, Std315

Also, it kinda looks like a slimmer Awesome without the Paladin shoulders....

It's going to waddle with his shoulders bouncing up and down like a overly plump gnome with really long arms while it runs.

Hilarious.

I just hope that the model will have the arms somewhat angled instead of straight down.

But otherwise, i think it looks pretty good. Aesthetically. Doesn't even look THAT sleek or streamlined like the Concept art would've lead me to believe, which is good.

Wonder where they're going to put the AMS. Maybe on left shoulder? Not that I would ever use one...

Well the Warhammer page says center torso, so im gonna guess it would be placed on it's "hunch" next to the antennae.

Also that edit of making the 'Hammer's arms a bit angled makes it look way better too.

Looks decent enough imo.

I dont think it will be DOA, but if it wants to be relevant it will be BOA (Bastardised on Arrival) - the only thing that makes not a 5 ton lighter Cack Knight are the decently (ish) placed torso ballistics, so i see those getting upgraded from MGs on the vast majority of builds.

Just wait for the quad AC/5 Black Widow without any armor on the arms :D

Dual AC/5 Dual PPC/LPL might do it as well
