Ok.. so I know this has been asked for several times, but I wish to bring up my own idea..

I would like for a player to be able to select Stock mech load out though the mech lab... as if it were a hand actuator check box on the lower right corner of he screen. When selected it would lock in the Stock mechs loadout.. ie heatsinks, weapons, armor, and engines. Once this box is checked it would lock the mechs loadout preventing the player from changing it thus making the mech a stock mech, but it would also not cost the player anything. It would simply load the Stock loadout for the mech and lock it in at no cost.. This would prevent the system from being abused to gain free weapons/ engines.

the advantages for this would be multiple mostly in the form of events such as weekly, or community held events such as... 12 man stock mech CW, group stock mech warfare, and simply stock mech community twitch feed challenges.

Personally I think there should be some sort of stock mech button at least, but this would be a good alternative and maybe actually used apposed to actually charging the player for heatsinks and other equipment.
