Switch it to 32 from 64.

What Palor said. I was crashing as soon as the game started up and repair was not fixing it. The simplest fix is to go to that little gear icon on the launcher and change it to 32 bit. Launch with that and you should be good to go.

Kind of a bummer since I have a 64 bit OS but not a game breaking (Pun intended) issue.

Could the problem be that you are missing a Direct X file? I had a similar problem when I was first trying to play. You may want to search up direct X and see if you have the right stuff installed for that.

I had this exact same problem when I first started not long ago. I had to go find a full download of the C++ runtime that I could install to put things where they needed to be.

I got the most help from this thread: http://mwomercs.com/...run-x64-client/

This link got me the tool that fixed my issue: https://www.microsof...ls.aspx?id=8109

Yeah, it's a Microsoft dependency you are missing. had this problem when I installed after a clean install of Win7.

You can also unistall C++ and then download the latest version. This will allow you to run it in 64 bit mode.
