like the starter money cadet bonuses provide, but i'm ready to try a mech i build & wondering if the bonuses stop when you buy your own mech & stop using the trials?
thanks

The Cadet bonus is from the first 25 games and there's no requirement on what mech to use for it. There's a separate achievement for getting five wins in trial mechs though.

If you haven't done it already, you can acquire an extra 5m cbill from the training academy.
All you have to do is complete the basic stuff until you're free to roam the academy and get gold on the speed test.
As for the cadet bonus, as mentioned above, it's for 25 games. Should net you around ~13m cbills.
Complete both the academy and cadet bonus, and you should have a decent stack of cbills to get a first mech.
Aprox 18m.

It's probably worth noting that you can complete the speed test with any of the mechs in the academy. Thus, if you're having problems getting gold, just switch to the fastest (usually lightest) mech you an find. It will make things a *lot* easier.

I cleared the speed test with a stock thunderbolt, so i'll assume others can do so as well. Might need a little practice.
