Visual Assisted Targeting System (any similarity to recently launched game is purely coincidental)

Something this game is very bad at (and should be changed before steam launch) is a "how to play this game". The academy is a great and important step in this direction. Player need all necessary information accessible in game and not by hard-working fans. One of this are the hitzones. It is for a new player almost impossible to "learn" all hitzones, Mainly because not all mechs are on the testmaps. Thanks to Rak (http://raksarmory.bl...pots-guide.html), Tamerlin (http://mwomercs.com/...x-localization/) and not forget Rainbow Unikorn, Voodu777 and all the others there is at leas a good estimation of the hitzones. But it would help new player and also be much more accurate if we would have it in game.

So a system that highlights the hitzones of a Mech. This in game would be a nice feature, highlight the zone your cross-air is over or where your shot hits, obviously not with slow motion and hit percentage (see image below) but maybe with the damage percentage of the location.

This feature would also be very useful in the mechlab or in the academy, so it would be easier to learn the locations and also might help decide what Mech to buy and where it need the most armor

Not that bad of an idea even though the feature would only add more shenanigans to the display. I think it would be better in a tutorial type game mode of some sort.

it have to be optional of cause, toggle like the armlock (on, off, toggle on key press, toggle on key down) and less cluttered. more like the highlight from the spectator view.

What you want my friend is a T1 computer from MW4 I think.. that would let you get a targeting reticule on a particular mech component.. so instead of targeting "That Atlas, Delta, on C3, you would target that Atlas's left torso..

Might be nice if they had a vision made that highlighted to the hit boxes on a targeted mech.

I assume that they are invisible at the moment but still there,

Then the entire game would be played in one vision mode.

I guess that could save PGI a lot of time putting visual elements into the maps though.
