Is round 3 of the Beta invites starting today? I thought I read a post that said that. Am I correct or is it just wishful thinking?

They only said that their plan is to switch to their new equipment today, doesn't mean beta invites though

I do recall that they said once they got on to their "production hardware" (which was schedueled for today) that they would start ramping up the invites for "Closed Beta stage 2". Of coures the only thing you can do is wait and see.

I think if they change hardware today, the best case scenario is tomorrow for beta invites, or the day after. Maybe they push even until Monday to avoid a weekend beta rush.

Production Update is currently Scheduled for July 12th. I would expect that we will see a new round of Beta Invites after that.

They said they are due to receive the next shipment of their hardware which will enable additional beta invites. Most likely within the next 4-5 days Closed beta phase 2 will begin.

You know, new hardware brings new problems. Maybe they have to handle some issues before they can invite more testers.

The sad thing about the NDA is that without official words from the Devs we have no way of knowing if there was actually a wave sent out since the chosen are not allowed to mention they are in the beta

They need to fit new hardware and make sure it is stable (even if the hardware arrived today) before getting invites out.

Tomorrow at the very earliest would be my guess, 3-4 days more realistic.

Even if they go out soon chances are you/me will not get one. Only a tiny amount of people will compared to those who have founders.

So, meh...it will happen when it happens, all I'm counting on is August 7th.

Not to say I wouldn't love one, of course, but you have to be realistic about these things.

We may be waiting but at least we know they're having fun with their new toys. For them it has to feel like Christmas in July! I wish I knew what hardware they're playing with.
