Smoke Deactivation? - Fps Drop

Hi Guys,

is there any option to deactive the smoke? it starts to lag terribly anywhere wheres more smoke that usual (dead mechs, etc)

I'm assuming you've already turned your particle slider to lowest?
Aside from that, not sure if there's anything you can add to the user.cfg to lower it even more.

Turn particles in video settings to lowest. I'm running a mid-spec rig and it lags when there's smoke as well and changing particles to lowest has solved the slowdowns.

yeah i did. some maps have too much smoke...
