Howdy,
I'll be brief,
Players should have a C-Bill and XP multiplier based on their tier. Tier 5 having no multiplier and tier 1 having a significant multiplier. Like x5 to all earnings. Otherwise, where is my motivation to advance? I've heard from tier one and two players in my clan say that they have to wait in the drop queue for fifteen minutes to find a match. Make it worth our time to achieve this status. Just food for thought. PGI, I love this game, but there needs to be a reward system besides bragging rights. Who wants to wait for a quarter of an hour to find a match, get laser blarged in 30 seconds, and earn next to nothing all while being the "best"? I hope this doesn't fall on deaf ears. Thank you.

actually having something to brag about and e-peen comparison is a great thing. I'd like to see better mech stats, a feature to sort stats by $win/loss or $average c-bills per match, and so on.
And the reason why you are being shove dinto tier 1 is because no tier5 players finds it funny when you lolroflstomp them. It's more like a protection system

Yes,
swinging your e-peen to and fro is cool and all, but I would like to see an actual reward system in place to for those that get to that level. And, just for the record, I AM NOT. I keep bouncing between 3 and 4. I'm ok with that. I'm just saying that the higher tier players should be rewarded for that. Especially because they have to wait so long to find a match. Bragging rights are nice, but we are mercs afterall

Oh, and why don't my CW stats affect my standing? Just curious.

Well, technically the tier system is not there to benefit good players but save the bad/new ones from them. You could imagine in some other game 'tiers' would just be an under-the-hood function of the matchmaker.
You could probably farm more c-bills if you found a way to stay at tier 5. I tried that, but failed unfortunately.

Suggested Rewards:
--------------------------
If I feel any inadequacy in rewards though it is in team actions, such as:
- grouping up
- scouting/ecming/uavs
- torso twisting
- not overheating
- good trades
- ganking
...in other words, all the things that as a 1st- or 2nd-tierer you already do anyway but the game doesn't reward enough. For example, I might be dropped into a crap team, do my best and the game will degrade me in tier for "not focusing on team play" which is ********, because we all know it gives points mainly for:
Current Rewards
------------------------
+ grazing as many enemies as you can (assists),
+ being a mech that can solo kill (solo =/= team)
+ match win (you could even be AFK as long as your team won)
TLDR: not sure about a straight up multiplier - but if the game rewarded team actions (not dmg), like it claims but it doesn't, high-tierers would end up with a lot higher score, and low-tierers would end up learning more.
