I'm looking to declare long-term, and am wondering which factions have the best record for being most organized, serious and active.

Jade Falcon has best PUGs by far. They don't group up, just drop solo on attacks and are on general simply better than IS PUGs they face.

FRR has best community. They have several loyalist units (groups that stay FRR and don't switch factions) and a TS server where they all gather up and team up, many PUGs and merc groups on FRR tour also join them there. It can actually be hard to drop solo in FRR because all those players in TS server form up 12-mans (not all players from single unit but multi-unit 12-mans) and those 12-mans keep getting drops ahead of you when you try to solo drop in attack.

Some other factions are ok, but those are the best in solo drops and group drops. Of course the merc unit roulette keeps messing up power balance and other factions may be better at times. Especially Clan Wolf seems to have best merc units in general. Not loyalists, but groups that are most often playing Wolf.
