Please leave any questions, or comments here. I'll check here more often than youtube, but either works I guess.

Still learning how to present, so tips welcome.

Seems fine. Due to the length of the video I would recommend a small summary in the video description and/or where you post it (mwo forums, reddit etc.). In my experience people start to neglect anything longer than 5 minutes unless they know what they are in for.

edit: on editing or similar I really have no comments, seemed well done to me and the video quality is good.

Just looking at the video though, at the end it took me a moment to notice that the first clip was of the symmetrical build while the second clip was the asymmetrical one. It might help to give a label or explanation so that people who aren't very familiar with the mech can tell without knowing where each hardpoint is.

Also when you threw the Asym clip in it started after you had already lost your shield arm and you had no armor on the side you were trying to protect, then there wasn't much shielding shown in what was there. Would have been nice to at least see how it all went down.

As a side note, compared to the matches I normally get, these people just seemingly ignore you, especially if you get behind them. The enemy Ebon Jaguar in the first clip for example who just let you rip his spine out. Also the LRM Atlas with King Crab beside him, neither of them even tried shooting you while you stood beside the Atlas except for a few grazing from the KGC with the mls which he then stopped for no reason.

You also mentioned that you could use the asym build for poking with the ERPPCs, but in the videos you were always within SPL range, and actually usually within about 50m of the enemy. I'm just wondering why the video talks about all the poking and shielding you can do with the loadout when in mechlab but then has none of it in the actual gameplay clips.

Theres other things you could go into too, like your build itself and the choices, like why you picked dual ERPPCs over CLPLs (frontloaded damage rather than higher damage and less heat in this example) for example or why you picked one of the larger TCs rather than a small one and more heatsinks, as I did notice you shutdown often in the clips. I'm not coming out and just shouting "you are bad and should feel bad" for your loadout, but explanations into what you are using and why can really help people out.

EDIT:
Checked the video on YouTube also. You said enjoy the song but didn't give the song name... that's cruel man.

ah, the videos are filler. But your'e right, they shouldnt be.

Also, teh particular build isn't of consequence, only the understanding of the concept :-) I'm not about to tell people meta builds.... only how they can approach making builds.

Ah, did you enjoy the song. I didn't name it because we never did release it. I think it's current working title is Dream Big.

Sorry if it's a little morose for a btech video :P I tend to write dark, but the next one's going to have something much lighter.

John Cucia is the singer and musician. I'm the lyricist.
