I've seen at least four or five different versions of this error, but I had a rogue install of MWO that would straight not launch. The boot strap sentinel would launch just fine, but nothing else would. So I went ahead and went to uninstall, fatal error. Righto why? Well here's the log

I have nuked the entirety of the folder to shribbons, defraged my hard drive, cleaned my registry, and even gone hunting for rogue bits. Always pulls this error. I would love to play the game, but alas I cannot. The installer Assumes that it's installed and goes to uninstall, when there isn't a single fragment of it left. This is testing my patience and I'm reaching out for help. I'd love to keep streaming this game, but until this is fixed, it wont even get to the installer.

Emailed the above to support? When I have had tech difficulties in the past they have been very prompt in helping me get sorted out. I play on an ancient lap top and they provided me with customized settings that got everything working fine. I think the turnaround time was perhaps three days (perhaps less).
