You do if you filled out your beta application COMPLETELY. You have a chance to get in on the closed beta early, but if you don't get in do not fret... you will have access FOR SURE starting August 7th.

The Closed Beta 2 is scheduled to begin sometime this week. If your not invited to that one then you'll have to wait for August 7th to come.

To my knowledge the invites to closed beta BEFORE Aug. 7th are given to random founders. It doesent matter when you bought (or which pack), if you did you are in the pool.

It was said that many invites will go out, so I guess that our chances to "get in" are actually quite good. And if not, Aug 7th is going to arrive shortly... then we ALL will get in! :)

All these two dozen threads a day are just another example of how severely the internet lacks precision of language.

Buying a Founder's Pack does in now way, shape or form guarantee closed beta access. PGI never advertised that. They advertised that there would be a specific "Founder Injection Date", and that is the 7th of August.

The release schedule looks like this:

Internal Alpha --> Friends & Family Beta --> Closed Beta 1 --> Closed Beta 2 --> Founder Injection --> Open Beta --> Release

We are currently in the Closed Beta 1 phase. If (and only if) everything goes as planned and they can take the first part of their production hardware online today, then we will be in the Closed Beta 2 phase tomorrow. This second closed phase will last until the entire production cluster is online and running stable, or the Founder Injection date rolls around - whichever happens later.

The Founder Injection marks the end of closed beta testing. Once the Founders have settled in and the server is chugging along happily, Open Beta is going to start, possibly two or so weeks after.

I was under the impression founders got beta access on july 17th if not already randomly selected for the earlier waves. Did something change since I read the dev post in the announcements section?

Hi everyone!
You've probably seen our big news today - Beta signups are official! But how, you ask?
First, log onto the forums; then click profile and it's right there! For greater clarity closed beta starts today! we will be inviting users as soon as tomorrow.
Secondly, how the Founders program beta/early access works: The program is purchasable on June 19th and you gain guaranteed access to the closed beta on July 17th.
Thirdly, the reason this announcement stated 'North America' is that it's for North American servers – As we have mentioned we are working very hard to launch MechWarrior Online in every region worldwide. We may also run a similar Operation for other regions, therefore we are required to recommend that for the best play experience you register and play in your region in the near future. However There is no IP blocking. You can signup from everywhere just keep in mind that if you are outside of North America we cannot guarantee your play experience.
Thanks for being the most awesome fanbase ever, and we hope this clears up your questions.
Sincerely,
The MechWarrior Online team.

At the end their I think they have the idea to just start and call it open beta instead of actually releasing it. That way they can avoid some criticism in case their is still big problems after Aug 7th. This also goes well with the fact that the meta game wont be available on Aug 7th...

Interesting. With all the bashing of people for same topic posts, you came up with something quite a few people (including myself) seem to have missed.
I wonder if the devs remember this being said?

July 17 was the original date of the founders injection. But they had to delay that to August 7. I believe the delay was due to them going to get new hardware in July, which postponed the injection date.

July 17 date was pushed back to August 7 prior to Founder packages going on sale.

Why do you post in threads you don't even read?

I read them, but my headache gives me bad time in addition to imperfect understanding of english texts, so I just asked a simple straightforward question.
