Some people might have seen me complaining on the newbie forum that I don't do damage.
I decided to test improving my framerate somehow, everything was already set on low, and I was still getting only 15 FPS, but I remember having better performance in 2013 (the other time I played MWO) on the same computer.
So, I opened the nVidia panel thing, and it suggested only two changes: lower resolution one notch (from 4:3 960 vertical lines to 4:3 768 vertical lines, there is no option between them).
and change from "borderless window fullscreen" to true fullscreen.
I did the changes... and the result is good, and bad.
Good part is: FPS now is constant 30, and seemly is easier to damage enemy mechs.
Bad part is: game instead of being fullscreen, it shows up as a borderless window on the top-left of my monitor.
The bizarre thing, is that if I change to borderless, or windowed, the performance drop a bit (from 30 Fps to 25 FPS, with some drops to 17 when turning around, a necessity when fighting those annoying artic cheetas)
But if I put fullscreen, it shows up as a borderless window on the top left of the monitor, and is a bit disorientating.
So, how I make the fullscreen actually fullscreen?

your fullscreen is not fullscreen? Try setting your desktop resolution to the same resolution you are using in game...

This is primarily players helping players. If you want direct PGI support, you will need to submit a ticket.
But as Mechregsum said, your desktop resolution is not matching your gaming resolution selected. And you are talking about when you have logged all the way into the game.
What are you system specs?
What is the resolution you use for your system? What is the resolution you are using for the game? What happens when you Alt Enter? Then again?

When I alt+enter, my window move to the top left of the screen.
If I alt+enter again, the window move to the center of the screen, and a border appears.
Also if I leave it in the broken fullscreen mode, and alt+tab many times in a row, my windows (the OS) crash.

I want to say this is a very old nVidia Driver issue, but I don't really know: Just go to guru3d.com and get both a fresh driver, and Display Driver Uninstaller to clean out the old …
