PGI please put the option to play certain game modes back in the game.
im not interested in voting..im not interested in gathering resourses or playing capture the flag.
all i want is skirmish....i have no desire to wait 10 minutes while the game takes a vote on maps and then load only to have a group a scrubs run to cap base..its not fun and i dont want it.
So please re-add the game mode selection for those of us that simply want to pwn other players with no chance of them escaping or running to the flag for a win.
Its a cheap cop out and it suks...please fix it.

I actually like the Map Vote mini game, better than what it originally was.
So i hope it stays the same.

You know the reason they did this was to fix queueing and wait times for games as well as to narrow the gaps in skill with the matchmaker?

If I were designing it, I would have just took it back to the old "You get what you're given, and you'll like it." style they had way back and I dare say most people would have done that, too.

The fact you have a choice at all should speak volumes.

Thats exactly what i want the choice to NOT play cheesey game styles such as assault and the resourse gathering...if i want maps with objectives i would play faction war...a

As a returning player from several months ago, I was surprised that I could not choose my game mode. Is server population so low that they are forcing game modes to lower wait times now? I stopped playing due to the 4/4/4/4 balancing rule. I just hated to wait so long to play my favorite heavies. Now this? Take 4/4/4/4 out and beg people to play on Steam, then you won't have to force people into game modes they don't want to play.

This may be a short comeback for me.

Yes of course I´d like to elaborate!

My point is simply that there are lots of threads for this topic, in some of which a real discussions are taking place. Simply adding a new thread like the OP won´t add to the discussion. Thanks for asking, have a nice day.
