2k normal match / not against premades
Was that point SO hard to get? And as there are solos who do more damage - no sealclubbing??
You did not even get the joke, did you? What makes ppl like you post on forums? Its like discussing Schrödingers Cat and having people show up fighting for animal rights.

Yeah, we got it. You are totally in favor of clubbing seals (PUGs), as long as it is you doing the clubbing (2K damage).
Biggest darn hypocrite I've seen. In a while.

You come across as a toxic brat rather than a person with a genuine grievance.

Its a Faction War.
War is harsh and cruel.
Dont get your expectations high.
You need to accept that matchmaking is based on zones and not player skill ranking.
If you drop in said war zone on said planet you just have to cope with what drops against you.
Stomp is an everyday thing in CW, and thats how it should be because it is War simulator,
Its the hard and cruel mode!
On the other hand we shouldn't have to flame on each other here on the Forums.
We should get more game modes for the solo players, and more maps and modes for CW, not to mention a reason to hold a planet.
CW is a fine start to a potentialy great Mech faction War sim.
Quick play is a fine start to a pontentialy great quick mech combat sim.
Both modes need more variety and people wont be flaming on each other anymore because everybody will just play what they want.

The problem I have is with these toxic elitists that believe the game or the gamemode belongs to them.
I don't always have the ability to play competitively. Not unless my team wants to hear the three year old howling with joy everytime I get on Teamspeak. Even so, I wasn't able to really play competitively when I had a job, and I won't be able to play competitively when I go to school. That's not just me, there are THOUSANDS of people like me.
And there's nothing wrong with that.
Excluding a large population of the playerbase from a very cool game mode with different maps and different dynamics is just foolish. The game doesn't belong to you just because you have the ability to play it competitively.
I rescind my earlier suggestion- someone came up with a better one- Separating some planets into PUG only and some into Group only. Heck, a few mixed planets could work fine too. It's not like we have a shortage of them.
Problem solved.
As an aside, CW is not a war sim. It's a game.
This is the second time I've seen someone on these forums insist that MWO is some kind of war simulation, harsh and cruel. If it was, the teams would not always be 12v12. It'd be 12v7, 18v53. Wars are won by being unfair.
Games, especially online games like this where every player's win is another player's loss, are supposed to be fair.
Yes, a team that is used to each other and is pre made for the match operates at a higher level than a similarly-sized group of PUGs. So keep it fair and let the teams fight teams and the PUGs fight PUGs. I've got a life I need to tend to, and that life demands that I PUG. No one should be penalized for that.

Nearly. Just missed by a square mile, but for you that must feel like a near hit.
Jesus,..... every time I read one of your posts it makes me want to bang my head on the wall. I just dont know how slow I can even take this argument to make you catch up.
I mean, I would love to gove you one argument at a time and leave you with a day or two to think about it, but I fear we might be still here when the succesor of this game hits the market

IF you play as much solo as you PRETEND to do (judging your comments) you SHOULD know that 2k damage is just above average. There are a LOT of solos who can do 3k+
But, numbers arent your strong suit. As are words... hm, anyways, I guess that means that you do drop with your unit exclusivly and stomp the pugs, so you don´t see those numbers very often. Or is it your scoreboard that shows lower numbers?

Hipocrit.... I think its kind of cute that you start copying little insults from my posts, as I said, words and you don´t seem to go along so well. Makes me want to pad you gently on the top of your head.... you are on a good way my friend

Realistically, how often do you actually run into a premade of competitive pilots in CW? Seriously. It doesn't happen very often. There are at most a handful of marginally competitive units doing CW regularly. I haven't run into a tough premade group in CW in weeks.

As I actually drop both I'm totally aware of what 2K damage means. When dropping with my team a 2K damage match is not very easy as we tend to spread the damage out. Those vicious stomps you are salty about usually involves most of your opponents scoring between 1K and 2K damage.
Getting 2K damage in a PUG on PUG match is a sign that your opponents AND teammates were all fairly low-skilled. That's you being a PUG farmer.

My bosses and students will be shocked to hear that.

I drop both solo and in large groups. With my team I average 1100-1900 per match. With an all PUG drop my damages are between 1800 and 3000.

You want to be the big fish while whining about getting eaten by bigger fish. You are a hypocrite. Whether that's an insult or not depends on you.
