[Mister Blastman]

So I want the CW rewards... but all weekend long I haven't been able to pick a clan faction. I don't want to play CW with Inner Sphere robits. Yeah, yeah, I know, clan easy mode *yawn* but whatever.

Here's the deal, I haven't bothered playing CW in a year. I've done nothing but PUG for the last twelve months and really only started playing again last August. I've mostly pugged with IS 'mechs, but I want easy wins and fast XP/damage to do the CW goals in as few drops as possible.

But... the game won't let me pick a clan faction! It only presents me with Inner Sphere factions!

What gives? Why is it doing this? A year ago it let me pick anything I wanted and the last time I played CW I was in the Smoke Jaguar faction.

I just want the paint. Nothing else. This is silly. Anyone have any ideas?

Just use some quirked up IS mechs, you'll be fine

What's not obvious is that you need to select the rightmost IS faction that you can see so that you can get access to the Clan factions.

It's as "intuitive" as the Mechlab circa Feb 2014 (in other words, it's terribad).

I bet many new players didn't realize they could choose a Clan faction to begin with...

Well I got one drop in and then it went into stupid ceasefire mode. So... I waited seven minutes for a drop, then it wanted me to wait another forty minutes?

Yeah... right. I don't have time for silliness like that.
