Russ updated patch notes for Nov 17th. There is this:

"Hit-box adjustments for the following ‘Mechs:.... Raven"

Anyone have any detail on what this would mean? Legs finally scoped down?

I hope so, hitboxes outside the modules is bs. If they want to do this they should increase the model size.

They'll probably make the leg hitboxes actually the size of the legs and not twice the size of them.

Which is about time, since the Hitreg improved since the times those inflated hitboxes were required.

You can read hear, theres also a pic of the new and old hitboxes:
http://mwomercs.com/...-hitbox-issues/

in Comparison:
it got ghost arms, bigger side torso (a little bit from legs and most from center Torso) and Rear-Front hitboxes
So no improvement to anything, yust additionally downgrading :P

Holy crap, i didn't read the notes. I came to the site to see what was up because my ravens are just exploding now. That explains why they feel like they're suddenly made of plastic, because magically they are.

And they won't "adjust" firestarter or cheatah hitboxes any, go figure.

Here you can see the hitbox changes (except the QKD) in the Nov.17th patch, including the Raven. For the Raven the cockpit was made smaller, and the side torsos were made larger. The legs and arms were left unchanged - the hitboxes for these were and still are much larger than the visual model, thus very broken and misleading. I'll do a full review on them after the Dec.1st patch to see if any improvements were made.

The Arctic Cheetah hitboxes are actually almost perfect. So please quit using "hitboxes" as a scapegoat for not being able to hit small and quick moving targets. The only issue I found with the ACH hitboxes was that from the side the leg hitboxes are larger than the visual model (like the Raven's are) and from the front they are smaller than the visual model. But this is only below the knee. Also, the toes aren't included in the hitbox, but this is somewhat common with most mech hitboxes. As long as you aim above the knee, you're good. Here's the full post and analysis: https://www.reddit.c...depth_analysis/

I'll do a similar analysis for the Firestarter later.

Wow, that's a pretty interesting analysis. I hope more people click the link and become enlightened, instead of the usual crapposting.
