Yes, if you are space-bucks poor and plan to play MWO for a while longer, then it's a great deal. I did it last year at this time, same deal. When buying it in small amounts I always felt pressured to play a lot before time ran out. At 4$/month, if I only a play a handful of matches in a month it's no big loss.

I was going to do it again this year but have plenty of banked PT + earnings from events that I don't feel it's necessary. I instead broke down and bought the Marauder pack for tomorrow's release.

I bought 30,000 MC and spent a bunch of it converting MXP from every 'Mech I own to GXP (I have a little over 1.1 million GXP now), and then had enough to buy a year and eight months of Premium Time. I now have 13,677 hours active and 11,026 hours banked. Whee!

And yeah, Premium Time at half off is most definitely worth it.
