This is the worst assault mech I have ever played with. Seriously the joy of the game sucked right out of me when I played a few games with this. Rebalance it now please.

Sorry, but most unconstructive feedback...
How about a little more detail as to what you don't like... If it isn't worth spendig more than 30 seconds for this post, I would just ignore it...

The Victor is the worst assault you say? I completely disagree here. Even one of the better assaults from my point of view. Still use that chassis in combination with jump jets, so how you called that way of fighting? I think you called that "poptarting" right?
Still to that day very amusing way to play in mwo.

How are you trying to play the mech? I think that could have a lot to do with it. Remember this mech is supposed to be decently mobile for an assault mech. It should feel like a heavy mech if you have it spec'd out correctly. The best way to play it (even if it is not as good as it was years ago) is as a jump sniper. I am okay at that, but I am not a huge fan so I play it as a fast skirmisher. I can do this with an STD 330-350 in most cases, but I often run those with big XL's (350-375, even put an XL 400 in once). You can still get an alpha between 30-40 with decent heat management whether you go STD or XL engine.
I will add that this mech is an Assualt Class Chassis desinged for a person who really enjoys playing Medium mechs.
I will also agree that it would be nice to see some bonuses added to its rebalancing since it does feel like it has been continually nerfed over the past couple years. But that is what happens when a mech like the Victors was super effective.
Regardless I think it is still a great mech to play and still has its place in competitive MWO. Although with the trend going towards the slow bruising slug fest assaults I can see it not being a chassis of choice when you can take a Stalker or Mauler instead.

You are right about the brevity of the post. I admit it was written in anger and frustration at a mech which I have always liked having become useless.
RT and LT armor is too light. Jump sniping with this mech is a joke as it doesn't jump that far up to get a good shot. It also doesn't have much speed. The only role I have been able to use it in is as a sniper after jumping to the top of a building and when the light mechs get close it just falls apart. The AC20 build on the VTR-S is nice but again it is too squishy in a stand up fight so it is a very limited brawler. 48 point armor max RT LT makes an XL build a death sentence in this mech.

Just scored 650match and 1000dmg my first game out in forever. IMO the only thing wrong with it is the scale and that is going to be fixed... when exactly no one knows.

Before the JJ and PPC nerfs that put the VTR's underground, I probably spent more seat time in it than any other mech, regularly posting 800+ dmg on the right maps and lucky match maker rolls.
Post nerf, yeah, I'd tend to agree. It's a very very tough mech to do well in. Another thing I'd add, it was probably one of the toughest mechs to play before it was mastered. The only other assault that was more painful was definitely the DWF.
Once you get speed tweak, it really helps and, of course mastering it brings it more in line with it true potential. Before getting to elite, very very tough. So in other words, hold judgement until you master it. Even though it won't be that good but it'll be quite a bit better than it is now.
2 UAC builds work in today's game, given the low ST armour. You're going to want to stay long range, cautious fire support until it gets buffs that help it in a brawl (like it used to shine in before all the nerfs took its toll).

I agree, just bought the hero over the crimbo break. Its slow and clumbsy even compared to other assault mechs. it doesnt have any particularly strong bonuses. the attraction was jump jets and AC20 but the free arm slots dont allow it on this variant and one other, the other hard points dont allow any particular builds that you cant achieve better with a heavy mech with more speed. The gauss rifle is now an absolute liability for pity's sake drop the charge mechanic and increase the CD if necessary, or the weight if you believe it OP.
I can out perform this mech by a factor of 2 with any of the trial heavies. please consider:
1. review the hardpoints
2. review the bonuses around the concept of the victor being ballistic focussed
3. remove an arm actuator on all the models to allow the flexibility to go AC20 or Gauss.
