You know.....Torso twisting were overrated, so PGI thought to do it worse :)

The truth is that scrubs don't torso twist, so PGI thought to re-balance the skill between the tiers.

Last night I lost connection to the server 3 times, today I had it TWICE in the same match not even 2 minutes apart. WTF is going on? It is NOT my internet connection. I have run the repair tool to try and fix anything it could be and it continues to happen.[/color]

Unfinished game? are you new? its been online for 4 years dude.
Ive alrdy put the word out to every gaming community i belong to,to stay away from this game and never spend a cent on it.
Funny thing is most of the game communities i posted on including steam they general reply was something like this(ppl still play that POS of a game?)..wich kind of open my eyes a bit.
ive allso noticed players in this game toss around the term meta alot i dont think these players know what meta means.
so to help in this i did suggest this game to one group of meta gamers...you might know them as goon swarm =)

PS..i dont know what this game is any more,aside from the chassis this game has nothing to do with mech warrior anymore

Look at all these Innersphere crybabies who finnally got the candy they were crying for for years. They'll be crying again soon as soon as their candy is gone, oh wait somebody already is.


And to Sixpack... I'm sorry But PGI Is biased always has been I wish they had never gotten away from IGP maybe they would have made it more 'balanced" instead of Biased.

You shouldn't wish for that. If IGP were still calling the shots, the game would have been declared "feature complete" when CW phase 1 dropped and after that there would not be any development except new $500 gold versions of the mechs that are already in-game.

No MMO is ever really complete.

this is not an MMO it does not meet the req's for an MMO..this is a 1st/3rd person shooter....in order to be an MMO it would have to have a community chat box and a trade system

in a clan mech with a side torso gone? that's a 50%* mobility debuff (*from previous levels), loose a leg too and now it's something like 90% slower.

what a great time it is.. now mechs actually FEEL like there is 3x gravity! Posted Image

hate it, it's just awful, no that doesn't do it justice... maybe i need to add a few curse words and throw a tantrum to my next post.

After playing a few games today I have to say, that this patch converted MWO to sh*t for all clan players. "Niiiice" work PGI! Not an easy feat to enrage half of your player base! Not easy, but quite foolish...Posted Image
They babbled about TTK, but actually my TTK got lower. My assault mechs stagger like ill slugs, but heavies lost their agility too. They are easy target to any half decent lights. Heat became a major problem ever for previously perfectly balanced mechs. So, every clan player tries to choose cool maps on that ill-devised (eq. ****) voting system, because our mechs shut down in no time - so farewell hot maps.
The few "buffs", like the nerf of the almighty ECM is not helping to my lrm based configs at all, because the 20% more reloading time have castrated the launchers. So, lasers and missiles are out. Gauss was a good weapon, but it is out of the play too. So only UAC remains as an alternative. Revive dakka Daishi...
I have to say, with hard work the pro-IS faction in PGI succesfully annihilated the clan mechs. :( So, again, great work! I've already got refunded some my preorders after your stunt with the voting, but with this patch I don't feel motivated enough to suck with the IIC mechs I ordered. And that was the last time I ordered from you anything.

A last hint: better remove the subtitle "A Battletech Game", because this game got so far from the lore, that it does not deserve to be called Battletech.

I've been disconnecting once a day since the patch before this last one. I can play 2 or 3 games or so, and then get DCed. Once it happens though it doesn't happen again...usually. Until the next day when I start the computer and start playing again.

Haven't run the repair to try and fix it. Thought the patching process does the repair every time now though.


Actually DCed last night in a first run of one of the Marauders. Ran right in front of a bunch of enemy....and when I reconnected the game was over, but we won and I somehow survived. Kodos for my team for saving my butt. Posted Image

Why PGI didn't leave clan mechs as is and buffed the IS classes to be competitive to a degree is beyond me. I would ask for a refund if I bought any clan stuff, happy I didn't.

Oh dear, pgi....

1. Those blinki blinki "manga style" monitors without any real information suck more then dead monitors....solution, yep deactivated via settings, but hey...still got massive frames drops since the last patch.
---> please give use monitors with useful info like outside temperature, ammo counters, water depth or whatever is game relevant!
2. The Gauss rifle is no more fun to play. It really was good as it was, even in the Hunchback Grid Iron with its massive quirks it was no OP-weapon.
--->please reset gauss cooldown to previous values.
3. The nerfs to the mech skill tree are ways to harsh. Whichever goal u had in mind...in my eyes its a failure. Game relevant skills like torso twisting to spread damage are of no more real importance....failure, even if you want to make this game "steam-noob ready" (sry for this description but you won´t get valuable new players if you focus your game on the easy mode gamers, and "valubale" means "paying and playing" in the long term in this case).
--->Please reset to old values or at least do only half of the nerf.
4. Range nerfs of lasers are quite good.
--->However....many problems with TTK and laser vomits could have been more easy solved by just raising heat or lowering damage values of laser weapons. You don´t care about the lore or TT values in other places, so why keep em?
5. Thx for solving the 11men CW-drop problem.

Well, one step forward, two, maybe three steps back...i´m disappointed of where this game seems to go with steam on the near horizon.

Lights and mediums still twist fine, but Assaults are pretty much just barely mobile weapons platforms now. Oh, and lights can still stand under Assault mechs, or run into them without any significant consequences.

You can't me an MMO without Global Chat and trade?
Mechwarrior Online isn't technically an MMO, but your reasoning as to why not is absurd.
You can have FPS/TPS's that are MMOs.
You can have an MMO without a trade system, and without global chat.

MWO is an online Free to Play, Multiplayer Tactical Vehicle Combat game.
It is first person, but you're a pilot.
It's a mix of Vehicle Sim and Arena shooter.

BUG REPORT:

Seems to be one relating to the color selection screen. Don't know what causes it, but seems to happen with when colors are selected and owned. Will try to pin down. Mouse over what colors are there and nothing selectable OR some are and others not. Sometimes when switching around the number of owned colors diminishes.

Well, I will concede that "Massively" is debatable, but MWO is most assuredly a Multiplayer Online game.

look it up WOT went threw this same thing..in order for a game to be considerd an MMO it must at least have a community chat system..since itr doesnt its a 1st/3rd person 24 man instance.wich does not qualify as an MMO......doesnt really matter this game will be dead soon anyway with the fail work PGI does....they should stick to single player games they clearly have no clue wtf they are doing for online gaming.
