I have about a dozen Mechs that are all at Master XP level, and I never pilot them anymore, because there is no reason to (except to improve on personal skill).
Right now my only motivation to play MWO is to buy new Mechs and level them up, but even with Primium time active, the C-Bill grind can be very tedious. I have spent over $100 on this game over the years, but don't play much anymore.
So my idea is to give a x2 bonus on C-bills instead of XP each day, if this was the case I'd be back every morning, battling with every Mech to get my bonus! :)

Why not both CBills and XP for new players (Steam) so they can unlock efficiencies too...

So does nobody else think this is a good idea?

don't worry, we all think this is a good idea and should be in the game yesterday. The problem is... that's just our opinion and PGI has a different one.

Yeah, a x2 first victory bonus for C-bills would defiantly get me playing again. I'm not very good, and usually making less than 100k per match takes too long to make it worth playing :(

This. There was a lot of talk about it both when 8v8 became 12v12 as well as later when rewards 2.0 came out as both times they nerfed cbills pretty hard. They completely ignored this suggestion both times so there's no reason they will not ignore this thread as well now. I even emphasized that it should just be a "match of the day" and not just first victory on every mech like XP. (this way it doesn't double cbill gain for those who own lots of mechs, but encourages people to play daily at least to get the one day bonus)

Put simply: not happening, don't bother. Maybe ask next time they take questions for a town hall but even then there's a very high chance they will ignore your question.

The Paulconomy wouldn't allow for this.

Im all for more cbills but this would encourage people to play one game with a mech and then switch. ie never get good and learn how to play your mech. That's a terrible idea. Id rather have limited daily mission per account not per mech.

I know a lot of players have been wanting or asking for the addition of double c-bills to the first win bonus, myself included.

Something like first 5 matches 2X Cbills?

There is no room in the Paulconomy for good ideas or ways to "get rich quick"

All are doomed to work in the Salt mines, uncovering lostech cockpit items and XP for the rest of our MWo lives.

The micro-transaction model of "Free Games" is not likely to go away soon. But, I would not be so bitter about the Irony of "Free" games that have cost me a hell of a lot more than much, much (MUCH!) better games than this. If the developers (and writers, HA! do they even have "writers"?) would give more of what we want... a story line... different scenarios that provide better satisfaction than just numbers on a scoreboard. Barring that... MORE C-BILLS, PLEASE!!!

I'm always down for more cbills. They really need something you can do with xp more than just convert to GXP. IMO they should let us convert xp on mastered mechs, but only on mastered mechs, into cbills. There could be some conversion rate (50xp to 1cbill) if the numbers are too crazy or they could even only allow that conversion to be bought with MC just like xp to gxp conversion. xp to gxp only helps until you have all the modules (you want) unlocked, so this would give them another MC sink and something for us to do with that worthless xp on mastered mechs.

Or just straight up x2 cbills is cool too like the op said.

The problem is that it would make hero mechs pretty useless. Many people have hundreds of mechs so they could always get the dobule c-bill bonus for just swapping mechs.

It would stack ontop of those bonuses... just like Champion mechs or Premium Time.

I don't see that as a negative.

other games like planetside have such things, there you get a cert boost (currency there) for the first 5 kills or so.
this is bait to play at least one round a day, a mechanic as old as free to play.

And all we have is a xp bonus for every mech. There should be an extra cbill bonus for just playing a round or winning a round if you have to.
