Who has it? Where is it now? How can we get some here? Two back to back La Ninas have turned an arboreal paradise into the Sahara! WTB RAIN! The Smoky Mountains are over ripe to go up in smoke.

Damn, I thought this thread was a wind-up; You want rain? Come to sunny England.. :D

http://www.environme...oods/31618.aspx

Due to that self-same heatwave messing with the jet-stream we're getting about a month's worth of rain every few hours over here.. :D

The north east US has been all messed up. Last year there was so much rain there was record flooding. Last November I spent $1300 for a new snowblower, never had to use it due to no snow (year before had about 2 feet on the ground at any given time). Now it seems to rain for a week straight, then nothing but sunny skies for 3 weeks.

Thankfully I live in part of the 25% of the US that to my surprise is not affected by drought.

We got about 1/20th an inch in metro Nashville, TN today. Two years ago, we couldn't turn it off.

We finally got something that didn't evaporate as soon as it hit. Went from drought to flood. Who knew all you had to do was cuss nature?

It's gone from houses burning down to three days of rain here. Quite the nice change.

My sympathies. I lived in Nashville for 21 years before finally getting out of dodge.

Now I live in northern Idaho. We're getting a record high of 97 degrees and ~20% humidity.

Coming out of a 3 day gulley washer. Good to have something that doesn't evaporate when it hits.
