Yeah, CyberMondaywas the only 24 hour period in the year when Premium Time is reasonably priced. However, I get paid tomorrow.

My plan was to buy $50 of MC and immediately spend it on Premium Time, but today is Tuesday and Premium Time is now priced too high for its value, again.

So... I guess 2016 will be a non-premium year, which means I won't be using any Premium Features, including private matches with my friends (I don't have 23 friends with MW:O accounts right now). That also means I will be playing other games when they want to play, since we won't be doing MW:O together.

PGI, if you want my money, which I am VERY WILLING to part with, then please either reduce the price of premium time, or let my turn my time off when I'm not playing. I don't get to play every day (most days, actually), so I see full-priced Premium Time that ticks-away when I'm not playing as very insulting.

I don't like being insulted and treated like a schmuck. I do like to have fun, though.
Let me turn my time on and off, or let me buy it at a price that's reasonable for players who don't play often.

I only activate a month when I'm on vacation for a week or more. Still have something like 6k hours racked up because I can't use a day at a time.

I've got like...2 years banked... only run the stuff I get in events, usually

I'm at about 17 months banked. I've activated 30-day chunks a few times, so probably had 2 years or so earned. Impressive that you've never bothered to activate any!

Its unfortunately also one of the reason I can't be bothered to buy more mech packs. Prem. time is one of the big bonuses that for me is pretty well un-useable because it can't be activated in smaller chunks. The mechs themselves lose most of their draw once you have 140+ so the bonuses need to be useful in order to incentivize more purchasing.

IIRC they ran a special at new years the last 2 years. 6 month and 1 year at half price.

nerf the bonus down to 25% and cut the cost in half permanently.

PGI still get to cashrape people and the premium time bonus wouldn't such a huge difference for casuals.

- PGI grade problem solving ready to go.

Sooooo

now we're down to "PGI you better put MC on sale just for me because I don't get paid until today"

smh....

I think I have quite literally seen it all on the forums now lol

insulting?
This is like industry standard. I can't think of another game like this that allows you to consistently and constantly stop premium time...

Really?
Insulted?
C'mon now lol

Pay-As-You-Go subscription is available, it's the 24 hour option.

In other news: I'm off to demand my cable company only charges me for the shows I watch.

So ... all of the people who pay for subscriptions to other games should be insulted because they can't play every hour of every day too?

That's a lot of insulted people.

If you buy $100 worth of MC, and then use 24,000 MC to buy a year's worth of Premium Time, it calculates out to $8 per month. And you still have 1,000 MC to buy other stuff with.

Buck up and buy some Premium Time. Especially since you're "very willing" to part with your money and all...

I think it would be nice if the time wasn't being spent if one wasn't online, or here's an even better compromise, to have a feature to turn it off with a cooldown that stops you from turning it back on/off for x amount of days -- so that you can turn it off when you know you're gonna be away for a while *coughFallout4cough* but turn it back on when you know you're gonna be back in full. This way you're not wasting sometimes weeks of time but you're still consuming it if you know you're gonna play more than one or two games a week. There actually was a game that had this feature once and while I can't recall which, it was pretty well received.

I also think they should have more sales, like most games do, especially if they want this game to survive the Steam Onslaught. I think they'd actually make more money by more than margin if they just had more sale opportunities, especially with those sales being advertised over Steam.

Oh, and also lifetime Premium. And that's being extremely generous as that is something people would have probably spent hundreds of dollars each on before when the game was still new, now it's probably too late. But that's another thing I know people would buy/have bought. I probably would have. Other games have done it and made sales. And with Steam on the horizon, no longer just milking the BT fans for every last nickel and dime, they could actually afford to sell the more die hard fans a lifetime Premium without losing income from regulars or the casuals.

TL,DR: PGI isn't very good at making good decisions or taking advantage of opportunities.

Private lobby only requires two players to have premium, none of your friends is running premium?
Also what does that last sentence has to do with premium time?
