You also fall down again if you not reach a certain matchscore while your team is loosing or when you have a real bad match (even with winning)

Are you sure he was talking about MWO?
I don't see movement except over the course of days. 20-30 wins I don't see anything noticeable (some in the 400+ match point range). But after a few weeks I noticed I had climbed about 1/8th of the bar.

Do u guys know a way the devs can see this or shall i send an email to them? also, any idea if they keep match history or a log of some sorts, so they can put me in a rank that i belong, or the past 50 games are all gone forever?

They have logs of those sorts of things. If you click on SUPPORT in the top-bar of this website you get a list of e-mail adresses you can write to.
50 matches are probably not enough to affect your rank much. The system is tooled to work with several hundred and thousand matches played.
Please also keep in mind that your rank's only impact on the game is to make it harder and more grindy as you will be matched up with more experienced players, thus probably earning less CBills. There are no meaningful rewards associated with player ranks.

yeah maybe 50 matches arent enough to rank up, but if u are palced on tier 4 i thought i woudl see a tiny bit of difference visually on the skill bar. and yeah i know there are no rewards, its just really frustrating to see yourself perform so good but stuck on the same default tier4. ive been playing for a really long time, and im pretty sure i know my skills and myself, so yeah, i emailed the devs about this, jsut in case theres a visual bug on the home-page of the client.
and thanks for all your help and info and stuff. much appreciated

So again, I ask you, how many drops have you made in MWO? Not just since PSR was introduced, but in total? No need to answer... the question was rhetorical in nature, but to make a point. The more drops you have in your history the slower the PSR change will be. I would venture to guess that your friend that advanced so quickly has a great many less drops under his belt than you do.

actually its the complete opposite. we both started playing long time ago, it is at least 2 years now. but he played much much more than me, im sure of it. so what you're saying is kinda not logical in our case. let me put it this way so you can understand: he has almost all the mechs and maxed them all, and i only have 35 of them. he plays regularly, while i play for a week really intense, then stop playing for a month. so yeah, it the opposite of what u're saying, and i dont know why the heck am i the only one with this problem, couldn't find a single post about this kinda issue. i mean, i played this game long enough to know my skill, and ive played like a beast recently, and it kinda feels sad. i mean, there is a possibility that my rating actually goes up really-really slow, but how slow? so slow that i cant even see the bar moving a single bit? if thats the case, im fine with it,i can play as much as i want and top score for 90% of the games. but it shouldnt be that way. at least what ive been told, its not that hard for others

Here is a SIG from another user. It appears inflammatory, but I fear there is more truth here than most are willing to admit.
-----------------------
I've determined that both ELO and PSR are myths, weight class matching a fantasy, hit registration a dream, and unbalanced teams a goal. The Matchmaker algorithm is entirely a function of pure spite and malice.
PGI's Corporate Mantra: If it isn't broken we will fix it until it is.
-----------------------
EDIT: I checked my PROFILE. Over 7,000 drops in current and archived combined. Not massive, but not small either.

When I start though it was rough I would be happy with lasting 2minutes and get 100 damage

My rating goes up almost every match, even on a loss. I'm petty much always top 4 if not top 1 per match.
I think the Tier system has improved matchmaking over ELO, they just need to make it rank up and down faster, maybe twice as fast. Due to the nature of momentum in matches, most still look lopsided, but closer matches are more common now than before.
