Hey, it's me, Jarl Dane.



Sorry I haven't been around. PGI's tournament pretty much has my full attention. And, man, is it a handful. But I feel bad about not being accessible or present.

Seems like phase 3 was a bit underwhelming, and the tournament has been a huge drain on participating units. I really wish NBT's next season would really hurry up and launch but they keep coding and telling me... eventually.

I know the Official Dropdeck is pretty out-dated (although the mechs listed still are solid) and that people crave for some guidance about scouting. I plan on getting the ball rolling on some new stuff later this month, hopefully, but in the mean time I'd just like to say sorry.

The FRR hub's activity has been historically down lately, likely due to CW being a bit of a bust, not sure what we can do about it exactly..but I'll try to figure out something.

The wait times have been horrible as of late and summer returning to the northern hemisphere has taken it's toll. A few weeks off is probably good for everyone.

I think that's part of the problem. PGI releases a new mech then immediately follows it up with a new mech challenge and everyone burns themselves out in a furious weekend of play then has to take a couple of weeks off to recuperate.

Organize our own Tuk event... Get CJF to attack a Steiner planet, get Steiner to CJF planet and everyone attacks/defends and ignores all other lanes...

This is why I think CJF started voting to attack FRR.

Folks want games. They often want good games, too.

The RP stuff is neat, and all, but folks want to play. The other stuff follows after getting enough matches.

If you write the words hijack on the internet does the world intelligence community give you the evil eye? What if you wrote "Hi Jack" instead?

BTW Dane is going to announce that he has negotiated the merger of clan ghost-teddy-bear and the FRR. The new, merged, faction is going to be named "The free Rasalhague Republic & Sons"
