There was another thread on this but it was archived and I couldn't post

Its a minor issue but just wanted PGI to know its still going on. Im guessing its some kind of problem with the way the new driver handles scaleform

They released a hotfix for the fan speed debacle on 11/29 (15.11.1) w/ some others fixes but the flickering issue in MWO persists.

Just so you guys know its still a thing.

Yeah still keeping an eye on this one, I'll follow up with QA to see if we have anything new with this on our end.
Unfortunately this is likely going to fall on AMD to fix.

Its not only in MWO, some other games also have that flickering. Seems Crimson drivers are little bit unpolished. I don't expect flickering get fixed soon.

I cant get past the first loading screen either, had the AMD drivers before Crimson, and this happened after PGI patch. Tuesday night. I wait for the audio to finish and then type my password and hit enter to get in the game.

I installed the new Crimson drivers, and its the same thing, but, now I get flickering on the game, which I didnt have before with the drivers after Crimson.

So, something is wrong guys, plz find out!

Core i5 3.3ghx, 16gb Ram, R9 280X, ASRock Z77 Extreme4 Mobo, with OC Agility SSD. Never had an issue but after your patch.

On my system, (fairly high end), I also can not get past the load screen to login. I hear the sounds change as I press the space bar but no video intro changes. This is also happening with SC so I doubt it is an issue with the latest MWO patch.

Tried rolling back but I have a feeling windows is now trashed as that failed to solve the problem. Next step is to try a Win10 install on my gaming machine which I was hoping to avoid for at least a little while.

Win7(64bit), R9 290 video card

Update :-

removed the Crimson driver, rebooted, used AMD clean uninstall utility, rebooted, installed 14.12 drivers - pre windows 10, rebooted. ran MWO repair utility.

Star Citizen now works, but MWO still stuck at the first loading screen after you press "play".

Update - Fixed Posted Image Used windows restore to go back before I downloaded the Crimson drivers !! Yeah Posted Image Still on drivers that are a year old, but that's better than no MWO !!!
