Hi, Seraph here. Or Madcomm from deviantart. And I am a very big BT fan, and designer.
With a wide interest and understanding of physics, engineering and weaponry.

From what I have seen, this MWO will likely be the most entertaining BT simulator, but I have some minor questions:

1) Compared to MW3-4, have the mech armors and speed been reduced to give a fairer experience? I always felt MW4 was cool, but the armor was never very realistic.
2) Having seen the very beautiful models, and knowing how difficult it is to come up with accurate redesign (The catapult is beautiful, and the ATLAS amazing), but how many mechs are we to expect? Also, have they REALLY put away the Rifleman?
3) Is there a chance for melee mechs like the Axeman? It's game mechanics which would be really cool, but have never been given a chance to be implemented
4) What will be the stance of the game towards the modding community? I am talking of possibility to make 3D models of mechs not done by the group (which would be monitored by game designers), but most importantly textures and minor modding for appearance (This typically gave a huge boost to MW4 mercenaries).
5) I have remarked that the weapons seem stronger. And noticed some seemingly new mechanics like ammo placement and exploding engines. Are there more tactical aspects?
6) Is this game worth the founder package? I mean, mektek's MW is excellent, and the game will release eventually.
7) Will the game be supported by adverts? This would typically allow funding, and low issues.
8) What are your opinions about the subjects I asked, if you can accompany that with the answers if possible? I like personal input with facts :)
9) Are missile and ballistic mechanics realistic in MWO? (I mean, the LRM15 preview for the catapult were good, but will it be like so for all games? With it be preset paths for the missiles, or will they be "independent"? Also, will the ballistic weapons arch, and will they explode at max range? This is a fair tactical question)

I think this is pretty much it.

Apologising about the double post. I have a slightly buggy internet connection.

Please respond to this thread.

If you're a big BT fan I'd recommend the founder's packs. It's a good deal for what you get and on top of that you also get to play now as a beta tester. By the sound of your interests if you definitely plan on playing the game and you have the money then it's a no-brainer.

Speeds are based on the actual canon speed for stock variants.

Expect few mechs to start(they've announced 15) and more mechs over time as the game grows.

The Rifleman is an unseen and they do not have rights to use it, you'll have to use a Jagermech instead.

No modding, since this is a free to play game (meaning it is being supported by voluntary micropayments). Mods would mean people can make stuff for free and MWO wouldn't make any money... Games that sel lyou a 'full priced game' up front can be more open to mods, but FTP/micropayment games cannot.

Ammo placement and exploding engines are not new.

My founder pack was worth it!

not ads; supported by multiple small transactions (micropayments). you can purchase mechs, premium account time, cosmetic skins/items, etc. No solid details yet on how much these items will cost.

a lot of questions I shouldn't be answering, you should read the FAQ and the dev blogs instead >.>

Fairly realistic

They aren't. MW 4 just stripped them to be more arcadey. :)
